Nick Butter, a 30-year-old from UK is the first person to run marathons in all the countries of the world. Butter stated that it took him 22 months to finish all the marathons.
He started from Canada in 2018 and has taken up to 455 flights to travel across borders. In compliance with the rules set by the Guinness World Records, Nick Butter ran 211 marathons which covers a distance of 26.2 miles in each of the 196 sovereign countries including 15 war zones.
Of Butter’s 675-day adventure, he has been hit by a car, bitten by a dog, broken his elbow, mugged twice and even been shot at. Nick Butter is a former banker and hopes to raise a value of £250,000 for Prostate Cancer.
