Actor Rajinikanth said that he would like to play the role of transgender in a film. He said that he has explored almost all the movie genres in his film careers. When he was asked what role he would like to explore in his movies, the superstar claimed that he would love to explore the idea of playing as a transgender in a film.

Rajinikanth visited Mumbai recently to open up the trailer launch of his upcoming film Darbar. When he was asked if any director had asked him to play the role of transgender in his movies, he said that he has not got any offer and it was only now that he has expressed his wish.
Unlike other actors, when asked what drives him to work in films even after so much achievements, the star giggled and said it’s about money. But immediately said that it is justified because of his passion. He said that camera and lights give him energy. He also said that being a Marathi, he would like to act in Maratha films and has not got any option but he would agree to do films if anyone approaches with a good story.

In the movie field, when every actor wants to the role of a cop as it senses responsibility, Rajinikanth said that he avoids roles as a police officer. He said, “I don’t like to act as a cop because it is related with duty and serious aspects. I love the roles that are happy and entertaining. In a cop film, we have to very careful as it is about fighting crime.”
The Superstar starred Darbar will be released on the 9th January 2020 in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi language.
